Description
Functional blood chemistry is focused on investigating and determining the underlying and contributing causes of health imbalances and health conditions. It provides a comprehensive overview of the different systems of the body to determine what metabolic and biochemical imbalances exist that could determine the potential for health as well as for illness. As such, the analysis is based on “functional ranges” to assess the imbalances. This allows us to develop a more targeted diet and lifestyle program to optimize health potential.
For many this may provide a sense of relief if they have been told that there is nothing wrong with them, even while they are experiencing symptoms. We start our health evaluation with a Comprehensive Bio-Screen which includes five pages worth of lab markers – liver, kidney, lipids, blood sugar, electrolytes, minerals, immune function, iron studies, red blood cell function, inflammatory markers, comprehensive thyroid panel, and much more.
The Comprehensive Bio-Screen is a combination blood and urine test, analyzing 80 total biomarkers. This test encompasses multiple organ systems analysis, to help us evaluate your baseline health status.
Who Should Be Tested:
- Those who want to improve or monitor their health
- Establishing a Baseline Panel
- Used as a Follow-up Panel
Our most robust blood test, the Comprehensive BioScreen, is often referred to as the Baseline Panel. This panel provides analysis of dietary and supplement needs, vasomotor balance, recoverability, and metabolic function. This is the information you need to plan your best life! If this is your first functional bioscreen test, the Comprehensive BioScreen is preferred because it establishes baselines by which to compare future tests. The Comprehensive BioScreen Sustain Max is also an excellent panel to ensure you begin in optimal physiological shape.
Ideal Use: Use this as your initial CBP test and/or yearly to establish baselines.
Comprehensive Bioscreen Panel
This is our most comprehensive panel, encompassing numerous markers to help evaluate the health status of the athlete. Key tests covered in this panel are:
- Blood sugar analysis
- Cardiovascular analysis
- Infection analysis
- Electrolyte analysis
- Anemia analysis
- Thyroid analysis
- Lipid analysis
- Liver & Biliary analysis
- Urinalysis
This unique panel gives an unprecedented perspective as to the various biosystems with expanded markers pertaining to thyroid physiology.

Utilize this panel as another great initial test or as a follow-up tool. The thyroid section offered in this panel is not as extensive as the one offered in the Athlete Performance Gold Panel; however, it still offers a great deal of thyroid information that surpasses most panels. The following is a list of key areas covered in this panel:
- Blood sugar analysis
- Cardiovascular analysis
- Infection analysis
- Electrolyte analysis
- Anemia analysis
- Thyroid analysis
- Lipid status
- Liver & Biliary analysis
- Urinalysis
